As part of their unit in MYP Language and Literature, the students analysed ‘The Hate U Give’, a novel by Angie Thomas, to better understand the issues of fairness and development. The protagonist, Starr, stands up for what she believes in and fights injustice. Our students participating in this real-world learning experience reflects the ethos of our novel study: conscious change can lead to greater fairness and development.
