Since the pandemic, we haven’t had Field Studies since 2019, making this a truly momentous occasion worth celebrating.
Putting students through well-designed, challenging, and sequenced field-based experiences can produce learning that is transferable to their home environments. Not only do they get to enjoy the outdoors, Field Studies develop ecological literacy, aid personal development and get students thinking about global citizenship.
It’s a pleasure to be working again with our friends in The JUMP Foundation, as our 9th, 10th & 11th Graders have made their way safely to Thailand. For the rest of the week, they will be trekking through the forests, learn about conservation efforts around the community, hiking, paddling and learning outdoor survival skills.
