A rarely used word, Thalassophile is also the title of our BTEC Performing Arts Year 2’s final performance, a devised merge of parallel worlds. The show drew inspiration from the pandemic lockdown and how isolated we can be during this period. The student actors wanted to portray the effects of prolonged self-isolation, likening it to the ocean, which swallows everything up.
