They went to Khao Yai where they explored the wilds, learnt about ecotourism and deepened their bonds with each other. Our students had a ball of a time paddling down a local river in their kayaks, exploring caves and learning about geological forces, climbing actual cliff surfaces, and getting up close and personal in the elephant sanctuary. They also had to learn survival skills, bushcraft and played games around the campfire.
Even though they are back from Thailand, our 8th Graders have definitely made memories that will stick with them for a lifetime.
