During the final session of the exhibition, the students participated in a livestream Q&A with LooLa Adventure Resort and saw firsthand the planting process. After months of planning with them and our PTA, the club managed to raise enough money for a second mangrove planting. That’s a total of over 400 mangrove plants, and a carbon offset of around 240 tons of carbon, which is about the amount produced by the whole school over a 2-3 week period.
What started as a goal to make the exhibition a carbon neutral event ended up making almost the last month of school carbon neutral! Well done everyone!
